Charles Quinn established Southwestern Aero Exchange in 1950. The company originated in Tulsa, Oklahoma as an airplane parts surplus store, which slowly graduated into Beech 18 parts. Charlie quickly filled a 10,000 square-foot building with Twin Beech parts, making it the largest supply of parts available for this model of aircraft.

In 1985 due to health problems, Charlie sold the company to David Warren. Southwestern Aero Exchange was then moved to Owasso, Oklahoma in 1987 where it grew in both in parts and salvaged aircraft.

David passed away in January 2007, and now his daughter, Shelley Warren, is running the company.

At present count, we have two four-thousand-square foot buildings full of new surplus, and twenty-nine salvaged Beech 18's in the bone yard. Because of our incredible inventory, our long-standing motto is:
